In
June-July-August-September-October 1999 we
went on our first around the world trip.
(99-days - Melbourne - Bangkok - Frankfurt - Moscow - St. Petersburg -
Stockholm - Helsinki - Copenhagen - Malaga - London -
Western Europe - UK - Egypt - Jordan - Israel - Greece - New York - Las
Vegas - Melbourne).
After great sightseeing in Egypt, including Dahab in the Sinani, we
caught a ferry to Aqaba in Jordan,

Nuweiba to Aqaba..

lots of rubbish into the Red Sea.

After 2 nights and great sight-seeing at Petra we caught a mini-bus to Amman, the capital of Jordan
and then another mini-bus to the Allenby Bridge, the border crossing to Israel.
