Dubai - 2015
We had a fantastic 57-day trip in July-August 2015.
Melbourne - Dubai – Paris – Norway – Spitsbergen – East Greenland – Iceland – Seine River Cruise – Dubai - Melbourne
To make the trip to Europe easier for us young 70-year olds, we stopped over in Dubai for 2 nights, before we flew to Paris
(and on the way home from Paris).

There is a Dubai metro station near our hotel.
We caught the ultra-modern, clean train to the Mall of the Emirates
We were in Dubai at the time of Ramadan.
While the Mall of the Emirates is not the largest shopping mall in Dubai, it has an indoor ski-field.
We also had a 2-night stop-over on the way home.

And so home to Melbourne, a 12½ hour flight.
