Mount Osorno (2652m)

In the middle of this scenic trip we stayed overnight at the Puella Hotel.
The hotel is over a 100 years and has an old world charm about it with its wooden floors.
It is in a beautiful, peaceful setting.
We had a great dinner here - salmon pate entree, french onion soup, turkey and vegetables, apple strudel, wine and coffee.

The Peulla Hotel had its own hydro-electricity plant.

With Andrea, one of the Chilean guides, on this 2 day Andean lakes crossing. Behind us is Mount Tronador (3491m), with its glacier.
A few days later we saw the Argentinian side of this mountain with its "black glacier".

Our trip continued to Bariloche in Argentina where we had a hire-car for 3 days,
then 3 nights in Buenos Aires before fling home to Melbourne.
We saw some fantastic scenery in this part of Chile in Patagonia.
