Swartland - 2009

With Milton, my new tour leader-driver-cook and 4 fellow passengers, I left Cape Town
and travelled north along the west coast of South Africa through Swartland.
The countryside was very dry.  However where water was available, lush crops and vines thrived.

We camped overnight at private farm about 50 km from the town ofSpringbok .

My tour crossed into Namibia on day 28.  On to Botswana and Zimbabwe.
On day 47 we crossed the Limpopo River back into South Africa at the Bell Bridge border crossing.
