Zululand - 2009
Zululand is one of the 11 district municipalities ("districts") of KwaZulu-Natal province.
After staying overnight at Drifter's Hazyview Lodge and at a lodge at Kruger National Park
we passed through Swaziland (a very small, independent country surrounded by South Africa) to Drifter's camp near Hluhluwe in Zululand.

We had an early morning walk through the forest along a sand dune.
Hluhluwe High School
Drifters sponsor this school. Despite this sponsorship the facilities were very poor.
There was a muddy road into the school and only muddy tracks around the school.
Furniture was sparse.
The Year 10s put on a noisy Zulu concert for us.
Mud was flying everywhere with their high-kicking dancing.
