Tanzania - 2008
On the way back from the Maasai Mara National Reserve to Nairobi in Kenya, we had our only delay for the whole trip.
A tail-shaft bearing on our truck seized and we had a 4 hour wait while a replacement
was brought from Nairobi and fitted.
Despite the Maasai Mara National Reserve in Kenya bordering the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania,
there is no border crossing between them.
We returned to Nairobi and the next day travelled into Tanzania.
The roads in Tanzania were in much better condition than those in Kenya and Uganda.
