In November
2008, I spent 3 days in Botswana as part of my 46-day IntrepidTravel
7-country, East African truck-camping tour.
From Victoria Falls in Zambia, we travelled about 85km to
the ferry to cross the Zambesi River into Botswana.
Formerly the British protectorate of Bechuanaland,
Botswana adopted its new name after becoming independent in 1966.
The warthogs cause quite a commotion when they enter the supermarket!!
The warthogs roamed around our campsite at Kabale.
