Drifters Namib Desert Camp Namibia - 2009

On the edge of the Namib Desert, Drifters have built their desert camp in their private game reserve.

These massive bird nests were built by Sociable Weavers.  There can be up to 500 birds in the nest.
The nests last for about 50 years and the sociable weavers allow other birds to use them.
