Periyar - 2010
We got up before dawn for a walk in Periyar National Park.
There are supposed be be about 60 tigers in the park but we did not see any.
We wore gaiters to protect us from leeches.
A couple of them were still able to sample my blood.
Tobacco powder was sprinkled on the leeches to release them.
In the afternoon we had a boat trip on the lake in the National Park.
With Jan and Lisa on the boat.
At night we went to a martial arts show.
