Char Minar  -  Bukhara  -  2013

Char Minar is the gatehouse of a long-gone medressa built in 1807.
The name means "4 minarets" in Tajik, although they are not strictly minarets, but simply decorative towers.
Each tower was tiled differently for the original owner, who according to the legend,
built them in honour of his 4 daughters.

A Russian-built Volga.
