Some scenes in the 1970
movie, Ryan's
Daughter, were filmed on this
beach.
Lots of houses in Ireland had conservatories (sunrooms) attached to
them.
Dingle
Dingle is the only town on
the Dingle Peninsula on the west coast of
Ireland.
Principal
industries in the town are tourism, fishing and agriculture.
Since
1984 a common bottlenose
dolphin has frequented the Dingle harbour
area.
He has been given the name Fungie
and has become a major attraction for
visitors.
He regularly shows up when tour boats go out to meet him.
Normally bottlenose dolphins swim in pods, but Fungie seems to prefer
human contact rather than interaction with his own species.
