Bucharest - Romania - 2014
We visited Romania on our 48-day Melbourne – Dubai – Dublin – Ireland – Amsterdam –
Rhine-Main-Danube River cruise – Istanbul – Dubai - Melbourne trip in June 2014.
After 26 great days, our cruise on The Duchess finished at Giurgiu in Romania.
We were bussed to Bucharest to continue the Uniworld trip.
Bucharest is the capital of Romania.
You could see that Bucharest used to have many fine buildings.
A lot of money needs to be spent to return them to their finery.

Like a lot of other buildings in Bucharest it has become run-down.
