Varmahlíð is a small village in northern
Iceland.
Varmahlíð is in the middle of a flourishing
agricultural
area, where the Icelandic horse has been treasured for centuries.
One of the main industries is horse-rearing.

My 71st birthday.
A number of the horses are allowed to roam free.

to sort them out for their owners.
We also saw smaller pens for sheep.

game!
