The Dona Palace (Danube Palace - Duna Palota) was built between 1883 and 1885, in a splendid Neo-Baroque style.
We saw a performance by the Hungarian State Folk Dance Company.
The singers and dancers gave us a very bright and entertaining show, complete with their Gypsy orchestra.
After the performance most of the 600 people in the audience walked down the street, and along the Danube River
for about a kilometre, and boarded a boat for a night-time dinner cruise.
