Hungarian Parliament Building - Budapest

Magnificent on the outside! - Magnificent on the inside! - Magnificent at night!

The Hungarian Parliament Building, a notable landmark of Hungary, is the largest building in Hungary and still the tallest building in Budapest.
Construction started in 1885 and the building was inaugurated on the 1000th anniversary of the country in 1896, and completed in 1904.

The height to the top of the spire on the dome is 96m.

The number 96 refers to the nation's millennium, 1896, and the conquest of the later Kingdom of Hungary in 896AD.
