South Africa - 2008
In October 2008 I had a 6am flight from Melbourne to Perth.
With some other passengers I caught a taxi to the International terminal.
It was then an 11 hour flight to Johannesburg.
Ben, who was working in Johannesburg picked me up at the airport and i stayed with him at his apartment in the suburb of Sandon.
Two days later I flew to Nairobi in Kenya for the start of my 46-day IntrepidTravel camping-truck tour of East Africa.
This tour finished back in Johannesburg.
